What are the costs to rent with us?

  • We offer a fixed rate agency fee of £354 per property (Inclusive of Vat) this fee includes full referencing, credit checks and the rental application.
  • The first months rent and deposit will also be required before moving into a property. The deposit on all listings would be a further £100 on top of the monthly rent, therefore a property rental at £500 would require a deposit of £600 before your move in date.
  • If a pets clause is accepted by a landlord a further £150 will be payable on top of the required deposit.
  • When renewing a contract after the agreed fixed term period a fee of £90 (Inclusive of Vat) is payable.

What happens next?

  • If you would like to proceed with the rental of the property, the negotiator will make you aware of any further requirements and ask you to complete a Tenancy Application form, the agency fee will need to be paid to reserve any property.
  • Please note that the agency fee is non refundable should the application be cancelled.
  • Once the application has been received all reference checks are carried out (it is important to ensure all contact details of your previous landlord or agents as well as your employer are to hand).
  • On completion of the reference checks we will require the payment of the first months rent and deposit before moving into the property.

Moving in

  • Now it's time to arrange a move in. An appointment will be made at your convenience to meet at our offices to sign the contracts and collect the keys.
  • A copy of the inventory will be sent for you to sign and return. (Please ensure to retain a copy for your own reference).
  • If your property is managed by JP Executive Lettings we will update the energy providers that you have moved in to ensure all accounts are transferred to your name. If we provide a let only service to the landlord, it will be their responsibility to arrange this.
